What started as a 14-acre active shipyard is now a premier Boston Harbor destination with a brewery, restaurant & the ICA Watershed
Collaborating with architects to give shared spaces soul
We built a team of local and regional artists to breath life into the Eddy, in collaboration with Lynne Kortenhaus and Gerding Edlen / Green Cities
Organizing an international mural festival in Boston
We brought Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans to Boston in 2020 and 2021, in partnership with the New England Aquarium and support from Linda Cabot.
Turning everyday spaces into surprising encounters
A Cape Verdean band in a barbershop, a costume dance party in the street, a sauna experience in an alleyway; we made “AHA! Moments” that spark joy and help to awaken downtown New Bedford.
Building a walkable public art path though East Boston
For 4 years, we focused our efforts to a walkable area between two major T stops. Today, over 2 miles of Boston streets are connected by dozens of landmark artworks.
Inviting play in public spaces through art and technology
We present and produce collaborations with artists and teams like MASARY to create interactive experiences that turn passersby into participants through light, sound, movement, and play.
Empowering young makers through sculptural wayfinding

We partnered with NeighborHealth to bring 18 artworks and a three-story mural to its campuses, celebrating community, identity and healing.

From the creators and organizers behind HarborArts, Sea Walls Boston, Beautify Main Streets, and 2nd Act, Moyer Bell Studio has emerged.
Through Moyer Bell Studio, we bring complementary expertise in public art, community engagement, public health, research, and arts-based social practice. Together, we bring extensive experience building collaborations among residents, artists, businesses, nonprofits, and municipal and state agencies. Our practice also draws on a network of exceptional creatives and specialists who work with the studio, bringing fresh perspectives and expertise tailored to each project.
