Building a walkable public art path though a Boston neighborhood
For four years, we focused our work through HarborArts on a walkable stretch of East Boston between two major MBTA stops. Working with artists, property owners and neighborhood partners, we connected over two miles of Boston streets with dozens of landmark artworks. Projects including Sea Walls Boston and Harvest with Eastie Farm brought art to buildings, schools and community spaces, giving people new reasons to explore the neighborhood on foot.
We also help people get to know the stories behind the walls. We’re working on a beta wayfinding project to explore artworks via google earth.
